Fuji loves to drive, and takes pride in the car her son bought for her. She is a cheerful, pragmatic and funny woman who volunteers at a local hospital, is active in church, and loves to visit Solvang, playing the slot machines “to support the Indians.” Her husband is no longer alive, but Fuji says you have to choose not to worry and just be happy.
